Simple and Stress-free
Once you have found your perfect Sweetcroft home and we have established that you are proceedable, we request a reservation fee to secure the property. To give our purchasers confidence in our reservation process, our reservation fees are completely refundable in line with government guidelines. Exchange of contracts takes place within 28 days of receipt of contracts, and completion follows within 10 working days of legal Notice of Completion. And then we hand over the keys to your new home!
Handing Over the Keys
On completion, a member of the Sweetcroft team will meet you to hand over the keys to your new home. They will give you a brief overview of the property, including running through your Homeowner’s Pack, to demonstrate important features of the house, such as explaining how the heating and appliances work. We will also arrange a convenient time for a more in-depth handover once you have settled in.

Once you have settled into your new home, we don’t just leave you to it. As well as building beautiful homes, we commit to an ongoing level of care to ensure that things keep ticking along as they should – and to sorting out any problems which may arise in future.
A Smooth Handover
During the in-depth handover, we will introduce you to every aspect of the property and ensure any snagging items are identified and rectified in a timely manner. Our comprehensive Homeowner’s Pack contains all the paperwork you need, including warranty documents, appliance guarantees and instructions and is a handy place to keep other documents.

Our 10-Year Warranty
We work closely with a number of warranty providers to give you 10 years of cover from structural faults with the house. The warranty we provide is approved by the Council of Mortgage Lenders. The warranty covers the foundations; load bearing parts of ceilings, floors, staircases, walls and roofs; non-load bearing walls; chimneys and flues; roof coverings; external finishing surfaces; floor decking and screeds; wet applied plaster; double or triple external glazing.
