Dellstone is the first of four unique properties in this prestigious, exclusive new development situated in a beautiful, elevated parkland setting only 15 minutes from Oxford City centre.
The house is a lovely example of an Arts and Crafts property in exclusive Hinksey Hill, with a beautifully swooping roofline and original architectural details. In true Sweetcroft style, we have thoughtfully transformed it into a spacious, contemporary home, while preserving its character and features, to produce a wonderful family home.
We are noted for our sustainable, highly insulated properties, and Dellstone is no exception. We build green tech into every project and consistently attain extremely good ratings for energy efficiency.

Trees are all round on Hinksey Hill, with Bagley Wood just across the road from Dellstone, a beautiful ancient woodland owned by St John's College. It covers over 560 acres and access is granted to the public along certain paths. Despite being so close to the city, it is easy to get away into Oxfordshire's rolling countryside.
Hinksey Hill is tranquil and green, yet it only takes quarter of an hour to get into the city centre. There are excellent park and ride facilities at Redbridge. Oxford is famous the world over for its University, museums and venues, with all the history and culture which they offer. Westgate Oxford is a great shopping destination, as is Bicester Village, both of which have an impressive array of brands on offer.
Dellstone is in the catchment area for Matthew Arnold School on Cumnor Hill and St Swithun's Primary School in Kennington. Both are rated Good by Ofsted. The area is well served by independent schools in Abingdon and Oxford, including Chandlings, a local prep school, Abingdon School, Radley College, and St Helen & St Katherine and Our Lady's for girls.
Dellstone's location on Hinksey Hill means that access to the A34 and Oxford ring road couldn't be easier; rail is also straightforward, with Radley station connecting to Paddington, Reading, the West and the Midlands. Oxford Parkway station is just round the ring road, with frequent trains to Marylebone taking around 75 minutes.
